Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 14, 2026

1. Overview

Glow AI ("Glow," "we," "us," or "our") provides the Glow iOS application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Services"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we use it, when we share it, and the choices available to you.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information in the following categories:

  • Fitness and nutrition content: goals, body measurements, weight entries, meal logs, workout information, reminders, preferences, and other details you choose to provide.
  • Conversations with Glow: prompts, messages, and relevant conversation context used to answer your requests.
  • Photos: meal or fitness photos that you deliberately select or capture for analysis.
  • Support information: your name, email address, device or iOS details, and the contents of support requests you submit.
  • Technical information: IP address, device and operating-system information, app version, request logs, crash information, and basic usage data needed to secure and improve the Services.

Glow does not currently require account creation and does not currently access Apple Health or HealthKit data. If those features are introduced, we will update this policy and request the permissions required by iOS before collecting related data.

3. Device Permissions

Glow may request access to your camera or photo library only when you choose to submit an image. Glow may also request notification permission when you ask it to schedule a reminder. You can change these permissions at any time in iOS Settings. Denying a permission only limits the feature that requires it.

4. How We Use Information

We use collected information to:

  • Provide and personalize fitness, nutrition, and reminder features.
  • Generate AI-assisted responses, workout ideas, and meal analysis.
  • Operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the Services.
  • Respond to support requests and communicate important service updates.
  • Prevent fraud, abuse, or violations of our Terms of Use.
  • Comply with applicable legal obligations.

5. AI Processing

Glow uses artificial-intelligence service providers, including OpenAI, to provide conversational and image-analysis features. When you use those features, your prompt, selected image, and relevant app context may be transmitted to those providers for processing. Do not submit information you do not want processed in this way.

6. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information or share it for third-party targeted advertising. We may disclose information to service providers that perform functions on our behalf, including AI processing, cloud hosting, database operations, security, diagnostics, and customer support. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the Services, or as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, or sale of assets subject to appropriate safeguards.

7. Retention, Deletion, and Your Choices

We keep information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, maintain security, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Some app history may be stored locally on your device; deleting the app removes locally stored data, subject to iOS backup behavior.

You may stop submitting information, revoke camera, photo, or notification permissions in iOS Settings, and request access to or deletion of information we hold about you through our support page. We may need to verify your request and may retain limited information where legally required. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to correct, export, restrict, or object to certain processing.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No storage or transmission system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children's Privacy

Glow is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can take appropriate action.

10. International Processing

Glow and its service providers may process information in countries other than where you live. Those countries may have different data-protection laws. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for these transfers.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as Glow evolves. We will post the revised policy here, update the date above, and provide additional notice when required by law.
